I have always been an avid reader especially of historical romance because they are entertaining as well as informative. I used to say that if my history teachers had used story form to teach we would all have enjoyed learning about history instead of memorizing a bunch of dates.

My favorite author is a lovely lady named Bertrice Small. I have read most everything she has written to date. So when I decided to give writing a try I sent her an e-mail on her website. Almost immediately she replied! I was so pleased that she replied as well as offering me excellent advise on the how to's of publishing.

I began writing stories years ago as a way of dealing with frustrations or problems in my life. At the time I was especially frustrated with a situation in the family and Tangled Hearts was born. This is not to say that story is based on my frustrations but one of the characters in the book is based on a real person.
